It is possible to set a timer with a run-time calculated value.

 

Here's an example that uses a calculated timer duration (this was created
with Telelogic's Tau - SDL):

I'd like to be able to use a timer with a duration that is calculated during
run time. But it appears to me from the definition that this is not
