Following the established procedure the venue should be selected from responses to the request for proposals by voting at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Society held during the 14th SDL Forum in 2009. The date for the 6th SAM was moved to 2010 after it had been decided to hold a short joint workshop with ITU-T at Geneva in September 2008.
