Dear Colleagues,

As you should be aware a joint Q.11, 13/17 meeting was held in
Kaiserslautern on 31 May 2006 and 02, 03 June 2006 - before and after the
SAM2006 workshop and in collaboration with the SDL Forum Society.

The documents for the meeting, can be found in the following
username/password protected directories:

http://www.sdl-forum.org/members/Downloads/sg17/wp3/q13/0605_Kaiserslautern/
index.htm (for SDL Forum Society members)

Or

http://ties.itu.int/u/tsg17/sg17/xchange/wp3/q13/0605_Kaiserslautern/ (for
TIES members)

I have today posted the draft report of the Kaiserslautern meeting in the
file <TDW03r01_report.zip> in each of these directories. If you attended the
meeting and have any suggestions for changes to the report, please send them
to tsg17q13#itu.int (and/or to me).

I have also posted the latest version of Z.109 in these directories:
File <TDW09r12 Z109.zip>

I have updated the list of documents:
File:<TDW01r01_list_docs.zip>

As agree at the Kaiserslautern meeting, it is intended to progress work on
Q.11, 13/17 by correspondence and a couple of planned physical meetings
between now and the December 2008, and also to have teleconference meetings
'every couple of weeks' to discuss progress between the physical meetings. I
have scheduled the first teleconference to take place this
Friday 23 June from 15:00 to 16:00 +00:00
That is (assuming I have the time zones right)

11:00 - 12:00 -0400 for EDT
16:00 - 17:00 +0100 for the UK
17:00 - 18:00 +0200 for WET

So far I am expecting only Thomas Weigert, and Constantin Werner to join
this teleconference. As I expect less than 6 people to join the conference,
Skype can be used - my Skype address is below. If you would like to join the
teleconference, please let me know before 12:00 +0100 on 23 June. If more
than 5 people intend to join the teleconference or there are some people who
cannot use Skype, I can set up a conference bridge (using
http://www.highspeedconferencing.com/).

Even if you did not attend the Kaiserslautern meetings and will not attend
this first teleconference, your input on Q.11,13/17 is welcome, as the main
means of communication for the ongoing work will be via the tsg17q13#itu.int
mailing list and the directories listed above.
