Best wishes for Christmas to everyone on the list.

No doubt (like me) you will all be taking some holiday and won't be back up
to speed until after New Year's day.

If you get tired of festivities and frivolities, here are a couple of items
you might like to think over during the holiday period:

1. The deadline for papers for the SDL Forum is 15th January;

2. There were discussions during August about the interpretation model for
states taking into account composite states and state types (email threads:
transition selection, implicit transitions, INPUT * SAVE * ...). It seems to
me that although we generally agreed the Z.100 text needs updating and needs
to match Annex F, we have not actually agreed revised text.

I don't really expect anyone to be writing 10 papers or rewriting Z.100 in
the next 10 days, but I know the brain is capable of background processing,
so my thought is that a reminder now might subconsciously prepare you for
January 02.

Meanwhile, a

Merry Christmas and a Happy New

to you and your families
