My answer would be "yes"!
It is so that UML users (and tool makers) can produce models that can
utilise the SDL semantics, and con be integrated with or converted to UML.
It is also to provide SDL tool makers and users a UML profile, so that SDL
components can be integrated with other components with UML profiles.
