Dear Colleagues,
As you probably know the ITU-T has been working on a new edition of the language reference texts for the Specification and Description Language for the last few years to upgrade the SDL-2000 standard.
Today ITU-T announced SDL-2010 Recommendations (Z.100 to Z.106) have entered the approval procedure
(see http://www.itu.int/rec/T-REC-A.8-200810-I/dologin.asp?lang=e&id=T-REC-A.8-200810-I!!PDF-E).
The Recommendation texts are currently at the Last Call status until 13 October 2011.
This is the period for the initial review and comment on these texts.
If there are no comments the texts are automatically approved.
However, I anticipate that there will be comments.
For your convenience I have put all the texts into one .zip file that can be found at:
http://sdl-forum.org/ftp/pub/sdl2010-sep2011/Z100-Z106LCpassword.zip
But I have password protected the file because the files should only be made available outside the ITU-T or SDL Forum Society membership on a 'need-to-know' basis.
So contact me for the password.
If you have comments to make, please send them to me, but if you ALSO have a official route for making comments PLEASE MAKE THEM BY THAT ROUTE AS WELL.
Assuming that there are some comments, the SG 17 management (usually the SG chairman with the Question experts) has to decided whether the comments are editorial and can be applied or if a another round of AAP is needed.
